Tried to sleep, as I tried to imagine
A smile upon your face, as warm as an embrace
All happy things, always so soothing
Peace and ease, thoughts of happiness.

Tried to sleep, as I closed my eyes
A smile will greet, the morning be great
The sun is hot, but sweet too I thought
Shines so bright, everything will be all right.

Tried to sleep, you make me smile within
All the thoughts of you, what am I to do?
They are warm and fuzzy, nice and cossy
